Written in retirement by me, for me.. Power and control. Both of these are affixed to one another in my view. Toss one, and you give up the other. Why on earth has it been so easy to give these steering mechanisms up to so many? Someone cuts me off in traffic, someone pisses me off at the doctor's office, and off I go with the anger and frustration that robs me of peace. No more. Relationships. Business or personal, if your relationship is being controlled by someone other than you, it's a toxic poison and we are done. Too many times I have been guilty of spending my emotions pissing and moaning about what other people said or did instead of just closing out my contact with those who I have allowed to rob me of my peace.
